Split

Ink is split
in me, my world
is split in me.
I know the good
but I don’t want
to do it.
I know the sun
but I don’t want
to stand in.
Rather being in
the moon.
I know the water
and it can clean
my wounds.
But I don’t want
to go down into
it.
So I just stand
on the shore
in the dark and
wave at myself.
