The Known Withering
Michael  Childers

You hate the mirror broken.

The known withering
the older you get.
realizing it is rented

temporary storage hoping

for a permanent home.

information will lose

the mind and the good news

is repenting what is only
remembered may save

the reflection of a good

life does not lose the end
relieving the shattered
data searching to piece

forgiveness from it all
will take patience until
it is forgotten and

you will learn to love
the mirror broken.
